Air Duct Cleaning

What a wonderful thing air conditioning is!

We can have cool air in the summer and warm air in the winter, and always feel comfortable in our homes. All thanks to the HVAC system and its ductwork.

But, because of this modern convenience, it is less common for us to open all the windows and "air out" the house.

Signs you might need a new HVAC system

Is it time to replace your heating or cooling equipment? Check out these telltale signs from ENERGY STAR:
Age - A heat pump or air conditioner that's more than 10 years old probably isn't running at peak performance. Replacing your old system with an ENERGY STAR-rated unit can reduce heating and cooling costs by up to 20 percent. For furnaces and boilers, consider a replacement if they're more than 15 years old.
Uneven - If some rooms in your home are too hot or too cold, it could be due to improper equipment operation, duct problems, or insufficient insulation.
Humidity - Air that's too dry in the winter or too muggy in the summer could be caused by leaky ductwork or problems with your heating and cooling equipment.
Repairs - If you're spending a lot of money on repairs, it might be more cost-effective to replace your unit.
Dust - Leaky ducts can distribute dust particles throughout your house. Sealing your ducts is one way to fix this problem.
Noise - A loud heating or cooling system could be caused by undersized ducts or a problem with an indoor coil.
